✔️What are these pink balls? ✔️Why are there phrases from childhood written on them? ✔️ Why is there a duck with soap on the bathroom? ✔️ Why does the bear have a patch on its head, and why are the old darned tights filled with toys?
⠀ This is a game that I invite the viewer to engage in. In the painting, I have depicted toys, but I have titled it "These Are Not Toys for You!" This is a paradoxical statement. ⠀
Tights, as I said in previous posts, are a symbol of phrases and attitudes that prevent us from being ourselves. The tights are old and darned. Because these phrases are still used, even though they are harmful. ⠀
I ironically fill my tights with toys, as if to say: - This is childhood! It should be free, interesting and creative! We must be able and not be afraid to ask questions, to try new things.
Often in our adult lives, we lack this state of lightness, excitement, and interest. The courage to make mistakes. ⠀
The painting depicts a bathroom with old cracked tiles and soap! And a bathtub filled with balls or foam.
